Service Description

The Full Service incudes: Full wash of bike and degrease of drive train. Frame: The bike is stripped to the bare frame, with each component being cleaned, inspected, lubricated and reinstalled. The frame is fully inspected before reinstallation of component parts. This Includes: Headset: Removal, inspection, re-greased and reinstalled. Bottom Bracket: Removal, inspection, re-greased and reinstallation. (With the exception of some push fit type bottom brackets which area non serviceable). Drive Train: This includes removal of front and rear derailleurs (where in place) Crank-set and chain. , Inspection, clean and degrease, reinstallation. Pedals: Removed, threads cleaned, pedals serviced (where serviceable) and reinstalled. Gears and Brakes: All cables replaced with stainless steel cables with gears being fully indexed and set up. (Drop handle bar bikes will have new black tape fitted. Other colours/ types of tape available on request). New brake pads fitted. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES. Where a bike is fitted with hydraulic disc brakes these will be bled and set up with new brake pads fitted. The disc will be inspected for its condition. There is an additional fee of £25 for hydraulic discs. Wheels: Wheel hubs are disassembled as necessary, checked for damage, cleaned, greased and reassembled. Wheels are trued, rims and tires inspected and set to correct pressure. This is the recommended annual service.
